Keybody-Skin is an innovative protocol for deep skin regeneration that uses the latest advances in aesthetic medicine: fractional radiofrequency, micro-needles (microneedling) and tailor-made skincare.
The Keybody-Skin protocol is intended for all patients who want to correct skin imperfections (scars, pigment spots, enlarged pores) and combat the effects of aging (wrinkles, loss of elasticity and firmness of the skin).
This combined protocol makes it possible to obtain very significant results in terms of skin rejuvenation from the first session, with an optimal result in only 3 sessions.
A deep skin rejuvenation protocol
The Keybody-Skin combined protocol combines several aesthetic medicine techniques in order to offer the most significant result possible with very few side-effects. This innovative protocol maximizes the advantages of each technique while limiting their possible inconvenience (social eviction, number of sessions).
What is micro-needling?
Micro-needling is a technique of micro-perforations of the skin with the aim of stimulating the natural production of collagen by the body. Often performed in an aesthetic institute, this type of treatment offers fairly weak results. If one can observe a stimulation of the collagen production, this type of treatment does not make it possible to treat efficiently indications such as the wrinkles, the cutaneous laxity or the scars.
Some aesthetic medicine treatments associate microneedling with superficial injections of mesotherapy products. The result obtained is a little more significant than with a simple microneedling but remains limited. Indeed, a significant amount of the active ingredients are lost in the context of too superficial injections to be truly effective.
What is fractional radiofrequency (RF)?
Fractional radiofrequency is a technique used for the last 10 years in aesthetic medicine.
The fractional radiofrequency treatments consist in creating a heating in the subcutaneous tissues by the emission of very high frequency electromagnetic waves. Radiofrequency waves cause a micro-ablation in the epidermis (smoothing action) and create a volumetric heating of collagen in the dermis (stimulating action). The heat thus created causes stimulation of collagen production by the skin.
Fractional radiofrequency skin treatments are appropriate for patients who want to tone their skin, reduce dilated pores and regain firmer skin. To obtain a satisfactory result, it is often necessary to carry out several sessions (5 or 6 on average for an optimal result).
The limits of radiofrequency: the epidermal barrier
The epidermal barrier ensures the protection of the epidermis, the layer more superficial skin, playing the role of interface between the body and its environment.
During fractional radiofrequency treatment, it is necessary to circumvent this protective barrier, which leads to two pitfalls. If the radiofrequency treatment is of lower intensity, it will be "absorbed" by the epidermal barrier and thus becomes ineffective. To circumvent this epidermal barrier, it is then necessary to increase the power of the treatment, which can lead to burns and to a more significant of social eviction after the treatment (the time that the epidermis is restored and the redness disappear).
The Benefits of combining Radiofrequency and Microneedling
The Keybody-Skin protocol uses an innovative device that combines microneedling and fractional radiofrequency to maximize the effectiveness of each technique in rejuvenating the skin with significantly reduced side effects. .
The use of magnets allows an in-depth action of the radiofrequency. Being able to act at several levels of depth (from 0.5 to 3.5 mm), the treatment allows a volumizing effect in three dimensions. Indeed, it is possible at the heart of the same session to treat several times the same area, targeting different skin depth, to sculpt three-dimensionally the treated area.
Fractional radiofrequency treatment using microneedling has the advantage of providing a very significant result with much lower side effects than in other external fractional radiofrequency treatments. On the one hand, the epidermal barrier is bypassed by the needles, which allows a powerful and deep action that does not "burn" the skin. On the other hand, non-target dermal interstices are found between the waves, facilitating faster recovery.
Most micro-needling radiofrequency devices produce current all the way through the needle, causing an attack of the epidermis, causing a small scar with crusts and a time of healing with its own risks (disorders pigments for intense fluences for example). Unlike these types of devices or fractional CO2 lasers that have the same type of disadvantage on healing (but indicated to treat certain epidermal lesions), the microneedling radio-frequency device used in our protocol does not send the current at the end of the needle. This helps to fully preserve the epidermis as well as blow sending energy into the dermis much more intense and therefore much more effective on the stimulation of collagen.
For which type of a patient?
The Keybody-Skin Combination Protocol is indicated for patients who want to:
- Correct irregularities and imperfections of the skin.
- Reduce scars (scars of acnes or scars caused by trauma).
- Correct acne skin, especially inflammatory acne.
- Reduce pigment spots and traces of photoaging.
- Reduce wrinkles and limit the appearance of fine lines.
- Limit excessive secretion of sebum.
- Amplify the firmness at the level of the oval of the face.
- Tonify a skin that loses its elasticity.
- Benefit from a natural "tensor effect" by stimulating the body's production of collagen.
- To reduce sagging of the skin, especially in the neck (double-chin) or jowls.
- Restore radiance to the complexion.
- Correct excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), especially in the armpits.
The Keybody-Skin protocol can be used on all skin types. It is suitable for patients of any age and any skin type
Keybody-Skin is particularly indicated for facial rejuvenation treatments but it offers equally effective results on the other parts of the body: bellies, buttocks, legs, arms.
Description of the Keybody-Skin Protocol
Face diagnostic consultation
In advance of a treatment using the Keybody-Skin protocol, we will review with you your needs in order to determine which treatment is the most appropriate for you, with regard to the state of your skin and your expectations in terms of results.
As part of a diagnostic consultation, scientific analysis tools of the state of your skin (Visia Complexion Analysis, Skinscope LED) will be mobilized to determine as precisely as possible the needs of your skin.
Following this diagnosis, a tailor-made Keybody-Skin protocol will be proposed to you (number of sessions, number of cycles, type of combined treatments, possible cosmetological prescriptions).
Regenerate the skin by fractional radiofrequency and micro-needling
The first treatment of the Keybody-Skin protocol is generally to regenerate the skin in depth by the combination of radiofrequency and microneedling.
The length of the session is between 30 minutes and 1 hour. Like all cosmetic medicine treatments practiced by Dr. Kron, this is done directly in the medical office.
To reduce discomfort and pain caused by needles, the treatment is performed under local anesthesia of the skin. This anesthesia is allowed by the application of a cream prior to the session provided by the firm because not commercially available (more powerful than the classic cream EMLA).
The needle flow technology used in Keybody-Skin allows for gentle penetration of lint into the epidermis, causing less discomfort during treatment. Thanks to this technology, the penetration of the needles is done progressively, by "wave" whereas most other devices of micro-needling implies an "in line" penetration of the eyelets, which one feels necessarily more.
Universkin: Tailor-made skincare
To prepare your skin before treatments, between treatments and to amplify the results obtained, tailor-made skincare preparations may be prescribed.
The cabinet proposes an effect of sera from the Universkin functional cosmetology protocol. The selection of the active ingredients of these creams and their dosage are determined after a complete diagnosis of the skin condition of the patient.
Targeting the needs of each patient as closely as possible, Universkin skincare preparations are particularly effective on acne-prone skin, which is prone to inflammation, is oily or, on the contrary, too dry.
