What is HydraFacial?
An “all-in-one” dermo-cosmetic treatment
Unlike other dermatological treatments, HydraFacial is a unique dermo-cosmetic treatment that combines deep cleansing, exfoliation, long-lasting hydration and antioxidant protection.
HydraFacial is an “all in one” hydradermabrasion treatment that provides an immediate and lasting result. It simultaneously cleanses the pores, gives the complexion a radiant boost, corrects skin imperfections and deeply hydrates the skin.
Completely painless, HydraFacial is an aesthetic treatment which offers very significant results within the framework of a session as pleasant as a simple treatment in a beauty institute.
Why use HydraFacial?
The HydraFacial treatment is indicated for women and men, regardless of their age and the specification of their skin.
HydraFacial particularly allows to act on:

HydraFacial is a very mild treatment with no side effects. However, there are a few cases where it is not indicated: pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies to aspirin or glycolic acid, localized skin irritations (such as herpes).
How HydraFacial works?
A session lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. It consists of 3 stages carried out successively, which can be customized according to the needs of the patient.
Step 1: Cleansing and exfoliation
The HydraFacial treatment begins with a gentle cleansing of the first layer of the epidermis. This treatment eliminates dead cells and excess sebum.
Then, a mixture of salicylic acid and glycolic acid is applied to provide gentle exfoliation. This mixture removes the impurities located at the bottom of the pores. This exfoliation prevents the formation of pustules causing acne and promotes the extraction of future impurities.
Step 2: Extraction and hydration
The treatment continues with a painless vacuum suction. This aspiration makes it possible to extract and eliminate impurities housed in the pores of the skin.
Then the application of the HydraFacial treatment nourishes the skin with intense hydration to restore skin fullness.
Step 3: Diffusion and protection
Now that the skin is healthy, the treatment ends with the diffusion of hyaluronic acid and antioxidants based on powerful peptides. This diffusion phase enhances the radiance of the skin, detoxifies it and protects it by skin restructuring.
Depending on the skin type, several personalized serums can be used:
- Dermabuilder Boost minimizes the signs of aging and regenerates the skin thanks to its combination of peptides.
- Glysal Boost helps pore congestion and improves superficial acne scars.
- Britenol Boost brightens the complexion, reduces stains to obtain a uniform complexion and an instant radiance boost.
After the session
A session of HydraFacial is painless, non-invasive and non-irritating. It is possible to resume daily life activities at the end of the session. If you wish, it is even possible to apply makeup immediately after the session.
HydraFacial does not involve any side effects. Slight redness may appear in the treated areas, but these discomforts are quite rare and disappear quickly within a few hours.

How many sessions?
The result of a HydraFacial treatment is visible at the end of the first session.
To obtain an optimal result, it is advisable to carry out maintenance sessions regularly. One session per month allows optimal maintenance of the skin throughout the year.
On problematic skin (oily or irritated skin), it is possible to repeat the treatment more frequently (2 sessions per month). This provides a clear and overall improvement in the quality of the skin. Once this clear improvement has been observed, more spaced maintenance sessions will allow the benefits of the treatment to be retained.
Combined treatments
HydraFacial provides immediate and very significant results. To amplify the results, Dr. Kron has developed two combined HydraFacial treatment protocols: HydraFacial Dynamique Visage and HydraPeeling Dynamique Visage.

Dynamic HydraFacial
The HydraFacial protocol can include a 4th step consisting of a session of LED phototherapy (blue or red) LED phototherapy.
The properties of monochromatic light rays make it possible to act at the heart of skin and subcutaneous tissue. Painless, this step brings regenerating effects (Red LED) and improves the appearance of the skin thanks to an antibacterial effect (Blue LED).
Dr. Kron offers this 4th step in the form of a HydraFacial Dynamic Face treatment. Rather than using the LEDs of the HydraFacial system, it uses a more powerful dynamic phototherapy tool. This tool can amplify collagenesis while calming post-treatment discomfort (redness) by its soothing effect.
Dynamic HydraPeeling
For an even deeper action, Dr. Kron designed the combined treatment HydraPeeling Dynamique Visage. This combines HydraFacial, dynamic phototherapy with a combined skin peel.
The objective of this combined treatment is to amplify the effect of HydraFacial on the texture of the skin. Once the skin has been thoroughly cleansed and regenerated, a combined peel can accentuate the result on fine lines, expression lines and age spots.
Depending on the comfort of the patient, the peel can be performed immediately after the HydraFacial session or 2 to 3 days later.
Unlike a conventional HydraFacial treatment, this combined treatment involves more side effects, including redness and flaking. You should consider a social eviction period of 24 to 36 hours.
